nwnplayer.ini file location?
Hi!

Where can I find the nwnplayer.ini file?

In your Documents folder there's a Neverwinter Nights subfolder containing the .ini files. This is also where the player-generated folders such as saves and modules live (with the exception of Steam Workshop items, which are squirreled away in the Steam folders).

The ini files in Documents\Neverwinter Nights do not have any keyboard bindings.

Where are my keyboard bindings listed?
Those are edited "in game". Click "Esc", "Controls", "Key Settings".

Could you please be explicitly specific. Unfortunately the .ini files are no longer shown as ini. files and therefore I can never tell which ones are ini. files.
After opening the NWN folder in my documents there are 17 other folders and 4 other things on the bottom (no folders). I assumed the nwn config settings (one of the bottom ones) might be the ini. file but it doesn't seem so because there are no display settings to access fullscreen mode.

Please note that this file is superseded by the Settings.tml

Be careful.

For some strange reasons, Beamdog is currently shifting the settings away from the nwnplayer.ini -> to the settings.tml file.

You can open this one with any texteditor but be aware that changes to the nwnplayer.ini might no longer work as the settings have been switched over there.

Better you double check if the change you want to do is also present in that file.

Baator knows why they are doing that stuff. I suspect they try to be like a rotting and foul version of (an) apple: Changing stuff just for the sake of changeing them.
