Gems vanishing from inventory

So I've noticed this enough times now that I'm sure I'm not going crazy. Sometimes, while playing, gems will randomly vanish from your backpack. I've been keeping mine meticulously sorted for the last 80+ hours of gameplay, and every once in awhile, a slot in my bags would just mysteriously, suddenly become empty, even with no merchant visits involved. It'd just disappear from my inventory.

Just now, I'm in the desert in SOU. I had two diamonds in my inventory when I entered these ruins, and now, part of the way through, they've disappeared from the spot in my inventory. I keep a lot of saves so to check and see if I was crazy, I went back to my save from right when I entered the ruins - lo and behold, my two diamonds are still in their original spot. Then, going back to another save from 15 minutes later, they're gone. Is it because I picked up another diamond, and that caused a stacking bug, or something?

It's sorta lame, I just lost 1900 gold because of a bug. I didn't mind so much when it was fluorspar and stuff but vanishing diamonds is pretty problematic.

if its just gold, its no big deal to add the gold back in. dm_givegold 1900 I believe.

Watch out for those rogues with ridiculously high Hide, Move Silently and Pick Pocket skills. :P

Mostly I just want some kind of confirmation this isn't just happening to me. I've probably had it happen like twenty times now but it doesn't seem to happen to anyone else

Not heard of this before. What mods/overrides are you using?
