Multiplayer Time Out when joining

I rememeber this used be an issue years ago. For some reason when trying to join my friend/ my friend trying to join me we only time out. Is there a fix for this or is it just a matter of restarting and praying for things to get better?

Worked yesterday but today you get the error message.
Tried reinstalling it but same result.

Same issue here, regardless who hosts the game, everyone gets a timeout error.

Have any of you tried to invite each other in private? I invite a friend regularly to my invite only game and she joins with no problem.

Seems there is a recent update afoot. I wonder if that has anything to do with it...

Yea we have tried by going in a new world and trying to invite each other (not at the same time ofc) but neither worked, trying it through the Multiplayer did not work either

No way they wont release a game breaking patch... Oh right its Generation Zero never mind that might be why the numbers have dropped like average of 250-300 players since the update.

Reminds me of a sitcom where a dev every week screws something up. Even though the updates are not weekly, it seems it would make for a great sitcom, if they are not joking. I can't think of a time where an update didn't screw something up, something new added didn't work correctly, then the patch update screws other things up. Would be a great sitcom.

I mean by now the patch is about a week old. Its just annoying that basically after years you'd like to return with a friend and now it seems to not work

Ok im going to guess next patch/hotfix(episode) the sound bug wont be fixed, the inventory bug will shift to another new inventory bug turrets still ghost hard and multi player will still be janky.
