Difference is, the hunting rifles can have a silencer on.
Anyways, id suggest using hunting rifles if your trying to stealth and use the Pansar if you know your gonna have robots running at you during the attack.
I haven't really understood at what range the bullets not only drop.. but actually don't even reach it's target.
We did a test at ~400 meters, shooting close to each other, so the bullets go that far at least with great precision even. but it seems one have to get up closer for the 300+ shots to even register as entering combat on an enemy?
After using the Pansar though its like going back to a slingshot!
tank and harvest need 100 and more shots to kills
slots r limited use p90 is better choice
243 is rare, and 50 very rare
also, p90 have very bad percision
and unusable without sniper perks
i have engeneer spec
so i use 270
The p90 also has quite a drop at long distance compared to the AI 76 or even a 5 star 5,56 AR.
I think that they need to readjust the ballistics and bullet trajectory of all the weapons.
I used a 4 star .243 and a 3 star .270 but the 3 star .270 does more damage, even with a silencer.
A 5 star p90 should do the most damage but unfortunately that's not the case.
@OP: Algstudsare (sp?) is the better rifle and the ammo becomes more available as you journey up north. I originally had the same worries as you (can I sustain this rifle?!) and the answer is yes, yes you can. You can ditch the Meusser if you want, but it's always nice to have options I guess :P
I use the suppressed .270 for mid range work to avoid alarming enemies and .50 for long range work where the noise doesn't matter.
Hard question, mostly comes down to preference.
I never had a hard time finding bullets with engineer skill, using some ammo boxes for the metal jacket ones which are indeed rare is sufficient.
It seems that the game promotes the use of algstudsare, 50cal, smgs, ag5 and magnum after when you go at the mid-upper section of the mainland, since i rarely encounter meusser rounds and other pistol ones.
hardned steel. Also the range of it is a bit weired as in rl cal .50 has an range of about 2000 to 3000m depending on ammonition. But the cal .50 is an semi automatic sniperrifle which makes reloading much faster so if you don't need to be quiet use it.
