However, I do feel in some cases they intend for it to be a substitute, rather than the actual figure. E.g. in the Jabba's Palace campaign, there's a mission where you are dealing with black market criminals, but they are represented by Imperial Officers and Probe Droids. To me that aren't really meant to be officers and probe droids, but mercenary leaders and some other kind of droid - because what they do is more important than how they are represented (i.e. there's not really any other single figure Merc unit they could have used). So I tend to see thinks like Wampa's in a similar light - it's maybe not literally a Wampa, but some other kind of comparable 'big scary melee creature'. I can understand though that some people may not accept that from a 'purist' point of view.
