Star Wars: Imperial Assault - Legends of the Alliance

Star Wars: Imperial Assault - Legends of the Alliance

Single-player?
It's strange to have the singleplayer tag, when the Star Wars: Imperial Assault Core board game is from 2-5 player. Just sayin'..

Will this game offer the ability to play solo on the boardgame then? Like mimic bots and you have to control them on the board?

Cool, good info!

Keep in mind the app doesn't track piece movement - it DOES tell you HOW to move the imperial forces (i.e., move the stormtroopers to within 3 space of nearest hero and attack) You let the app know when pieces die, but that's as far as "monster tracking" goes. Works the same in the Descent 2 boardgame app.

Same awesome games with App support:
- XCOM the boardgame
- Descent2
- Mansions of Madness2
- The Martian
A lot of others I play along with the boardgame components btw, like The Great War or 1775 Rebellion.
These last 2 I play with the boardgame components set up along with my Surface 4.
The Surface 4 draws the cards I put in my hand, rolls the dice while I manipulate the game pieces (soldiers) on the physical board.
It is like playing chess on a board against a chess computer :)
The same with Twilight Struggle where I take the physical cards in hand while playing against the AI of the Steam game.

Pretty much the BEST way to play boardgames solo these days :)
