how do voice comms work?
is it based on proximity, or wide/far radio comms? if it's wide/far radio comms, do everyone hear or just your faction?

depends
scp apart from 939 can only talk to each other
If you use normal voice chat, it's proximity based, the further someone is the quieter their voice sounds. if you have a radio equipped you can hear people from further away, with the respective settings (SR, MR, LR, and UR) having more or less range. if someone is outside of the radio range, you'll hear more static depending on the distance, to the point that you hear only static when they talk, or they don't make a single sound anymore.
Anyone with a radio equipped and turned on will be able to hear you if in range, no matter what faction.
If you punch a everyone can hear you excluding SCPs they can only talk to each other(except 939) you can hear people from about one hallway apart unless you have a radio. Though buggy at the moment the higher you turn the frequency the farther the radio is transmitted. The listener however will need to have there radio on to hear you. There is four settings that allow you to broadcast farther but in the process drain the radios batteries faster.
SR:short range
MR:medium range
LR:long range
UR:ultra range

Hoped this helped
(Types on a phone btw)
