Spinning Problem

Here's the thing: Every time I start Half Life 1 or Counter Strike 1, the visual begins to spin like a Motherf****r and I cant even play. I tried to unplug the mouse and using the touch pad, to check the local files, but the result was the same: BLOODY SPINNING LIKE HELL.

Im having the same problem with all hl1 engine games as well as quake 1 and 2 and can not find a solution anywhere. I've tried everything and keep finding myself spinning around staring at the ceiling

i tried changing my mouse settings and even changing out my mouse itself for a different one

Figured it out! You have to check the box in mouse options to directly access mouse data!
