Half-Life

Half-Life

Too many chapters
I felt like the story dragged on in the original half life. Opinions?

A little but with great gameplay it was worth it.

I didn't realize going to the Lambda Complex was considered long dragging story.

It's not a bad story, but you're supposed to run all over hell's half acre to save the world? That's what I'm asking people to think about

Yeah, i guess in todays terms it is a very long dragging game, but in the long run it has great gameplay and a very intersting story.

Back in the day, games didn't come this good. So they wanted it to last.

the game was fine, kids today seem to need games to be spoonfed and over in time for cartoons, I wish more games where like halflife.

How can people complain some games are too short, and then other people complain a game is too long? (mind you not ARTIFICIALLY long, half-life was long but all of it was unique.)

I love Half-Life to pieces, but keep in mind there's Half-Life 1, Blue Shift, Opposing Force, and Decay. Not to mention HL2 and HL2 Episode 2. I am very curious about Decay - which will be made available on Steam - because it has different characters, perspective, and probably different weapons. However, I can't get over the fact it's the same general Quake and/or Source engine map; for the HL1 series..

I agree a bit with OP.
The only part that was a drag for me is On A Rail. In my eyes it overstays its welcome.
Rest of it was trilling ride, all stored up in memory lane. In other words, I still love this game.
