Helicopter Help - Surface Tension - Resolved

I was playing surface tension and I got to the part where the helicopter is there. I tried using all the weapons on hand and it wouldn't go down. I then went and seached up a walkthrough to then find out I needed some sort of orange gun? I looked all over for this "orange gun" and I couldn't find it! Please help!!!!!!!!!!

If you mean the osprey then you have to fire on its engines.

No it's not the osprey it's way at the beggining of surface tension and I heard I'm supposed to have some kind of "orange gun"

the "orange gun" is called the tau cannon, and it's only available in the questionable ethics lab before surface tension, going back to get it is really the only plausible solution

You don't have to shoot down that helicopter, just dodge, weave and seek cover. There is only one Apache that you actually have to shoot down, but you get the RPG literally seconds before that.

Shooting down the helicopter isn't required. I've run by it plenty of times.

Go back and get the gun. It's worth having for the rest of the game.

I did! Thanks for the advice I wouldn't have ever gotten past that helicopter
