RESOLUTION FIX (You can't see the whole menu screen because it's too big)
I see a lot of posts about people not being able to see the whole main menu and not being able to access the correct options in the option menu, so I'm hoping this might help save people from posting about the same error.

Go to your games library, right click "Half-Life" go to properties, then click "launch options" copy/paste this in the box (without quotes) "-full -w 1024 -h 600 -freq 60".

Simple as that. I will also post this fix to the Guides section, hopefully that's OK.

I love you.
It should be sticky.

I tried copy/past, and it just shifted the screen an inch to the right with a black bar now appearing on the left side. I did not include the quotes. It did not work for me.... :-(

Aw poopy, sorry about that. You could try changing the numbers, or just deleting all that from your launch options and typing "-windowed", apparently that worked for some people.

Either that or you use the default screen resolution set on your pc/tower/primary monitor
