How to switch back to Open GL?
I accidentally switched Half Life's video settings to "Software" and now I can't play it anymore. is there anyway to set it back to "Open GL" without being in the in game menu?

You have to move your mouse cursor, little underneath the thing you want to press. It's a glitch.

you can use the menus. you have to use tab and arrow keys instead of mouse. and if you manage to flip over to opengl you need to uncheck enable vsync.

Thanks for the tips. I foud a way to fix my problem by just typing -gl in the launch options.

Tab and then Arrow keys also alows you to navigate when Steam takes a dump on the games we payed good money for.

If you, like me, after 25 years anniversary patch cannot even see the menu due to low screen resolution, here are the keys to press:
* Settings
* Tab x 7 times
* Right
* Down
* Enter
* Down
* Enter
This will navigate the Video tab in settings and set render menu back to OpenGL

I'm hear since the games tech support couldn't help me. I did the same thing exept my screen is blank after the loading screen but it sounds like I click on the buttons in the menu but it's all blank.
