Xen help, first jump

I just started Xen level. I need to do the first jump to the next floating rock. I cannot seem to make the jump, any suggestions?

yep, just hold forward + shift + control, then right at the edge, press space... try training, and remember, Xen is lighter gravity than normal... all completely obvious lol

First you need to run forward and later presh Ctrl + Space and thats all!

I love how people complain about crouch jumping and hope for its removal in black mesa source, yet, the long jump module is the same thing.

I hope the black mesa DO remove crouch jump and keep long jump, just so people will be confused.

Go here ...lol..www.planethalflife.gamespy.com/hl/ Probley should not have given you this but on right side find HL than walkthrou. Use this only if you are totaly stumped.
As to your question it's all in the long jump.Do you know how to use the long jump?
Get back as far as you can hit run and at edge hit ctrl+ space and it will work, you may need to do it couple of times but you will get it.Always save after you get it.
