They're on the same team. Having them fight is counterproductive.
It could be a cool mod actually - Doom Guy as the end boss and you're Freeman, having to *think* to beat him.
A "brains vs muscles" kinda situation.
Morgan Freeman wouldn't be able to beat Doomguy, but good news there's no reason for them to fight one another anyways.
