Headcrabs jumping at you in vents is NO fun. O.o
Short Story: Go download Black Mesa in my opinion its superior to the original in most cases and really captures the atmosphere!
Really, it sounds to me like HL Source if it didn't suck.
Superior to the original? Really? No. Just... no.
I don't really feel like Half-Life: Source... sucks. It wasn't supposed to be a remake, just a direct port of Half-Life to the Source Engine (as an early example of the physics engine and proper 16:9 aspect ratio).
Do you expect more from a game made in 1998? For Valve's first game it's impressive. Look at every other game made in 1998 and compare that to Half-Life. It's either better or about the same to all those other games.
They can't sell the Black Mesa mod since it is illigal to anyway, and yes the game is incomplete (no Xen YET!) but the devs did say that they were going to finish Xen 'soon'. Still though Black Mesa is better in most aspects in my opinion.
What a shame.
