Best Singleplayer Half-Life Mods

These are all my favorite Half-Life mods. If you're lookg for really good mods, this is the thread for you! Keep in mind, I've only played 1 multiplayer mod, so I decided to make the main list singleplayer-exclusive. The mods are ranked from my most preferred (top of the list) to less preferred (bottom of the list.)

1. They Hunger This is by far my favorite HL mod. The atmosphere is fantastic, its a total conversion, and probably has over 8 hours of gameplay. The first episode was released in 1999, but it still holds up pretty well to todays standards! Now don't expect some mind blowing cinematic experience. This is a corny mod with a corny plotline, corny characters, and corny sound design. But its the good kind of corny. 2. Half-Life: Zombie Edition Being a headcrab can be insanely fun apparently. Also this is the only HL mod I've seen that has a skill system. 3. Afraid of Monsters: DC One of the spookiest mods I've played. The way it's designed constantly makes you feel paranoid. 4. Point of View 5. Poke646 & Poke646: Vendetta 6. Brutal Half-Life 7. Black Ops Who doesn't want to play as one of the Black Ops Assassins from Half-Life? 8. Cat-Life Who hasn't thought "Wow, there should be a game where you play as a cat during the Black Mesa incident"? (That was sarcasm.) But seriously, it is a good mod. Sadly the demo is only released at the moment. Its fully playable and has a handful of maps. 9. Half-Life: Visitors 10. Paranoia I probably shouldn't include this, because there is a standalone version available. But I decided to include it anyway, because its still listed as a mod on ModDB, and the mod version is still available. 11. Mistake -1 Not one of the most amazing mods I've seen, but worth a playthrough. 12. Azure Sheep 13. Wanted! The Western Mod 14. Tactical Espionage Action Basically Metal Gear in the Half-Life engine. Unfortunatly it can get annoyingly difficult at times.

Sven Co-op gets an honerable multiplayer mention.

Cry of Fear wasn't included because its a standalone game now.

There's also Azure Sheep, Sweet Half Life and Half Life: Zombie Edition.

Ah didn't see it, my mistake.
Azure Sheep is the campaign the POV people did before POV. Better security guard campaign than Blue Shift.

Sven-Coop on of the best MP mods people still play it and there is still servers

Yeah that's definitely some of the greatest hl sp mods out there.

So no VAC ban, ive seen people getting banned because of mods, those that use modified .dll's or something like that
