Original Models Are Now The Default Setting?

Unpopular opinion here, but I prefer the HD pack. My first experience with Half-Life was on the PS2, and turning on HD models makes the game look like the PS2 version especially when using this pack. https://www.moddb.com/addons/half-life-hd-pack

I'm just saying that there's nothing wrong with keeping the HD pack as the default setting. It's a minor thing anyway, and I can just check it back on.

Nonsense. Of course the default will be the original models, not HD models.

Game should be as close to default as possible, which is also why it's awesome they remade the OG menu. Regardless of whether or not you like the HD models they were made for the console ports and weren't part of the original experience, so they should be kept as an option.

Good for you, but this is the pc version. It should look like the pc version by default.

I do really wish they updated the HD models to more closely resemble the PS2 versions with all the extra features they had (Especially those awesome health stations)

I have only HD models, but i want to turn it off and there is no option in the main menu, how can i fix this pls?

I feel they don't want to bother despite that Decay Solo Mission has them.

I kinda have a soft spot for the Dreamcast models as well.

There are resolution, window mode, texture filtering, widescreen viewmodel, brightness and gamme, thats it.
