If anyone has played brutal hl 3 and reached some kind of weird wall boss thing. Anyone knows wtf ur supposed to do ?

ye turns out my save was just bugged and nothing happened , after i went a bit back on saves and came in again it worked properly

Is it normal that literally every episode, be it doom 1, 2, kwake 1-2, ends with a weird level with a space vortex, an interworld, and the obligatory fight with Icon of Sin? Is this the author's intention or am I running something wrong.
