I remember how I didn't know what the real ones were (since I'm not usually speaking English so I knew another name) and I've seen how the actual ones are real parasites that actually move and have a long organ similar to the tongue of the ones in Half-Life.

Sea creatures are really disturbing and I almost prefer the Xenian one.
