Half-Life

Do you think the 3 scientists in questionable ethics lived?
I really see no reason why not, Gordon cleaned out the lab, and there's probably enough food and water to keep them alive for a good while. Vending machines etc, just wondering cause for many of these scientists through the game it looked like a doomed situation but these guys seem to be in a pretty good position long as no more aliens teleport in. Not sure about the soldiers, I think the soldiers were sent in to handle the aliens and freeman I never seen them executing scientists. Hell these 3 guys looked like they were locked up. Possibly for Intel and questioning later.

Oh ok, have not actually beat the game before but I guess basically only one making it out alive is Gordon.
They might have made it out safely

I won't spoil you then but Half-Life² will show you who survived.

I don't mind spoilers to much I already read into some of the lore but it still confuses me without seeing the bigger picture. For example what are the combine are they the aliens in hl 1 or are they the aliens combined with people in hl2? Only time spoilers bother me is a movie, show or strong narrative game. But in shooters like this the information seems to be spread out among different XPS and installments so any information is just added to whatever else I learn.

They didn't survive because I always make sure of that. The first guy, I pushed him at the malfunctioning surgical machine, second guy I placed in front of the laser upstairs and the third guy (after he opened the door to let Gordon out), I thanked him by letting him get a close look at the room where you push the button and the doors locked down and...

Don't you think these guys suffered enough?
Have you tried to finish some game before asking questions?
The same story as with FEAR.
Unseen Nov 8, 2024 @ 8:41am
Its not the same as other storylines, fear was more of a narration, this storyline is vague and to understand it more you gotta read into different aspects. Besides why do you care if I read spoilers?
By "The same story as with FEAR" i mean that you create topics with questions about game before finishing the game even once.
As i remember you are the HL1 hater, did you change your opinion about this game?

I just say whats on my mind and what I'm thinking and if people wanna respond that's their choice they don't have to. What do you want me to say? You want me to say I'm some kinda terrible person? I don't get it whats the agenda here? Lotta gamers post the same thing, their opinions, sometimes they change their opinions. Why am I singled out by you?

You've officially killed my interest in this thread though or reading any more of it. I don't need to feed a back and forth or an interrogation I can disconnect very easily.

Yes, this is a game.

But that does not mean we cannot try thinking more about the lore and story around it.

Excusing and justifying everything with a "it's just a game/movie/series/fictional medium" is a bit too limiting.
