HL1 old models

Is there a way I can get the models, and change them to the old ones?
you know the ones with the barney that looks tired, and the scientists that wear all white clothes, etc.
I hate the current models with the ugly barneys that look like barney from HL2 and the scientists that wear brown pants

Just disable HD models in the video options.

I remember playing Half-Life when I was a kid, I remember all the old models, Memories...

So I was right, it's your nostalgia. But it's the old models that look ugly. ESPECIALLY the old Barney, he barely looks human and is ugly as hell. The new Barney looks human how is he ugly to you?

So I was right, it's your nostalgia. But it's the old models that look ugly. ESPECIALLY the old Barney, he barely looks human and is ugly as hell. The new Barney looks human how is he ugly to you?

In my opinion, I just hate the HD models, I dont know why, I just hate them, Looking at them makes me want to quit playing Half-Life forever

I used to play Half-Life since i was 5 years old, It makes me remember all the times ive played it with the old models

I also dont like the HD HECU models, and the HD weapons, Ughhh Its the worst

And I like the old models because I used to play Half-Life source too, And Half-Life source has the old models

The old barney has a ugly face that makes me want to just kill him with the strongest weapon i have and then shoot a missle at him to make his body explode so i dont have to see that face again ( and of course take ammu )

The old barney model has a sweet friendly nice old man face, Everytime i see a old modeled barney, I go press "e" on him and keep him with me as long as i can, and if he died i press "f7" to restart my last checkpoint just to save his life

That's a massive exageration. You mean to say that the same model with more detail is a bad thing? That doesn't make any sense. What would you say if Valve remade HL1 too look as good as HL2? Would you still hate it?

All the HD models have more detail, some of them are exactly the same models, just more detailed. I can't beleive you hate them.

I think you PCs video card is messed up somehow. Your perception of Barney is completely backwards. The old Barney looks like shït even if the new Barney didn't exist.

anyways in MY opinion the old models are better...

I prefer the old models too. Because the new models don't add anything to the game. People who play with hd on think it will make the game look better but in the end it's just a small cosmetic thing. If you really prefer full hd graphics I recomment Black Mesa Source.

Yeah XD I finished Black Mesa Source almost 5 times, Now I just start wars by binding some keys to spawn some NPCs

Well excuse me for not playing this game for years

last time I played this game it didnt even have that option to change it to the old models
I thought I was supposed to download something

Geez, relax guy. This in-game option didn't even exist until about a year ago, and even now it's a single check box that's easily missed.

Save your disdain for the people who post daily threads about their resolution getting stuck in widescreen mode when there are usually already half a dozen others with the solution right on the first page.
