refresh rate
when I first launched half life on a 1920x1080 165hz monitor. Everything was fine, but after changing the resolution, the refresh rate changes to 60 every time you enter the game. Moreover, it changes directly in the windows display settings

Nvidia control panel > 3D > global > preferred refresh rate > highest available.

-freq x or -refresh x launch options should work too

i had the same issue, so i enabled windowed mode and restarted the game. the game still fills the whole screen and my refresh rate is staying at 180hz.
