Aperture Science vs Black Mesa
In order to compete, we must realize that it depends on several factors, such as the type of technology, ethics, safety and the impact of their experiments. Both companies have their advantages and disadvantages, and have achieved impressive advances, but have also caused disasters and suffering.

>In terms of technology, Aperture has an advantage over Black Mesa, having developed the Aperture Science Portable Portal Device, also known as the Portal Gun. This device allows portals to be created on certain surfaces, making it easier to solve puzzles and navigate the game's levels, and imagine its uses in real life. The Portal Gun has become an iconic symbol of the labs and shows the company's commitment to scientific innovation.

>In terms of ethics and safety, Black Mesa easily surpasses the reckless Aperture, which has endangered the lives of its test subjects and employees with its questionable practices (as we saw in the story Aperture cared nothing for ethics). The company has conducted experiments that often put people in dangerous situations, leading to unfortunate results. In addition, it has created an evil artificial intelligence called GLaDOS, which controls the entire facility and releases deadly neurotoxins.

> In terms of impact, both companies have had catastrophic consequences for the world, but they have also contributed to its salvation. Black Mesa was responsible for triggering the alien invasion by opening a portal to another dimension, leading to a global war and the domination of the Combine, an oppressive alien race. However, it was also the source of human resistance, led by the game's protagonist, Gordon Freeman, who used Black Mesa's technology to fight the invaders.

> Aperture, on the other hand, was ignored by the rest of the world after the apocalypse, but its inventions proved useful in combating the Combine. The Portal Gun allowed the game's protagonist, Chell, to escape the facility and defeat GLaDOS. In addition, the Borealis, an Aperture research ship that went missing, contained a powerful weapon that could change the course of the war.

What is your opinion on this? :health:

Yes, I was talking about portal 2, as it shows us a little more of the aperture background.:p2orange:

There was a video about it and I'd choose neither.
