[QoL feature] proper fov support (weapon viewmodel fov)
The game has supported custom fov settings via the console from day 1, but going above a value of 100 makes the weapon viewmodels visibly cut off. As far as I can tell there is no console command that allows one to change the viewmodel fov independently.

Having full control over the fov viabthe menu would be a very welcome feature on top of the 25th anniversary changes. 🙏

Agreed, this would be a very welcomed change. This has already been done in the AG (Adrenaliner Gamer) mod, which is the pro mod of Half Life, used by all competitive players.

It restores bunny hopping and allows for auto jump by keeping space pressed (it only takes removing two lines from the SDK code btw to bring back these last two features).

90 Fov plus the option for widescreen support is effectively ~110. Keep that in mind.

You could try adjusting the scr_ofs commands since they affect the viewmodels. Try using the scr_ofsx one until it looks right.
