DOES GORDON FREEMAN WEAR A HELMET???
Does Gordon Freeman wear a helmet in 1-2 pieces or not?? Does anyone know??

In multiplayer he can be wearing the helmet or not(they made an entire different body model with the helmet on).
In HL1 you're not given much chance to determine if you're wearing the helmet, so it doesn't matter. Same for HL2. In both games Gordon's voice isn't muffled ;^) (nor is any other sound).

It is implied that HUD is displayed on helmet visor, so most likely Gordon wears helmet in both HL1 and 2.

My head-cannon is that Gordon wears it when he wants to.
Head crab? Gordon puts it on. Need fresh air? Gordon takes it off.

I've always taken this viewpoint as well. I just think it's a shame we don't get to see what the helmet looks like.
