Long jump not working with the steam version

I simply cannot long jump. I have the long jump module and I tried in the Training Course and it doesn't work. I know it can be tricky to activate the long jump, so just to be sure I installed my old copy that came with the cds and there I CAN make it work. So either is a bug with the goldsrc version or with my computer. Any one has this problem with long jumping?

Works for me, not sure why it doesn't for you. An dlong jumping is easy, just move forward as normal then press crouch then press jump. You don't have to hold the crouch, just press the keys in that order.

I've heard some computers are not able to use the same keys at the same time. So try remapping the keys in the options menu. This should work. Try making crouch the shift button. :)

After reinstalling the game the long jump mysteriously worked again. Thanks for the suggestions though.

In my case, remapping the crouch key works, thanks, it help me a lot
