Gone from library
Just curious. Half Life 1 is gone from my library. I've had it since early 2000. I've checked the filters. I do have half life source though which i don't have anything against. On the store page it tells me i don't own it. Has anyone else noticed this?

1. Check your email, did you refund the game?
2. Half Life on Steam was released on 2010's (please tell me if i am wrong)
3. Are you a troll?

1: How would i have accidentally refunded a game after 15+ years? (the game was also bought on CD, so no way to refund)
2: I bought the game before that.
3: no.

As i said i still have hl source though so not a big issue. just curious.

maybe you had the game on cd and got confused with having it on steam...? or maybe you confused half life source with half life..?

Unless you refunded, games will never disappear from your library. Valve can't do that on a paid game because you paid for it or your lawyers better start talking.

Check you buying history.

Would having a filter remove the mouse icon next to their user name?

You likely weren't paying attention and 'removed' the game from your account. Games aren't actually deleted. Just extra hidden, as in all evidence such as achievements and playtime are removed.

Go to the support page to restore it.

So in other words, you never had it on steam to begin with.

If he made a mistake when saying CD instead of DVD... why do you think that you can't have HL on Steam if he has a CD or a DVD. Most probably he had it on old CD so yeah I agree, but if he have mistaken... he could have buy the DVD Anthology as I have it and then he should have HL on Steam since then.

On the other hand until I know... you can activate HL code from old CDs on steam so again he should have it on steam.

I could think more in a mistake made by someone and maybe he removed HL from his account accidentally.

I know this was last year but exactly this has just happened to me, was there an eventual solution without re-purchasing?

Didn't find any solution. Got it back for free on their 25th anniversary thing.

This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
