Would having a filter remove the mouse icon next to their user name?

So in other words, you never had it on steam to begin with.
If he made a mistake when saying CD instead of DVD... why do you think that you can't have HL on Steam if he has a CD or a DVD. Most probably he had it on old CD so yeah I agree, but if he have mistaken... he could have buy the DVD Anthology as I have it and then he should have HL on Steam since then.
On the other hand until I know... you can activate HL code from old CDs on steam so again he should have it on steam.
I could think more in a mistake made by someone and maybe he removed HL from his account accidentally.
