Forced fall damage in Blast Pit? (HELP)

I just turned on the power in Blast Pit, however when I climb up the ladder to the ledge overlooking the platform back, that ledge is high enough that with my current health I die to fall damage. Any way past this? The health pack from before is all used up too.

If you use a scientist and are under 50 health they can heal you. Are you talking about the very long ladder over the toxic goo? If so you don't have to go to the top of the ladder. Go down a little bit and you will see a small ledge that wraps around and will let you down gentle with no fall damage.
