Config file for HL

I upgraded to windows 10 and I can't find my HL config file. I have a copy of old one but can not find the place where the new one would be so I can switch them out

It should be somewhere in the Valve folder, but I can't remember where exactly.

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Half-Life\valve
That is where mine is located. It is named config.cfg. I am assuming you are on the Steam version of Half-Life, but if you aren't, I can tell you the location for the non-Steam version too.

For my non-Steam Half-Life, its in C:\Program Files (x86)\Half-Life\valve. But it just depends on where you installed the game to.
