Can't find tool textures in hammer editor
The tool textures (nodraw, trigger, ladder, clip, etc) are not showing up in hammer editor from the Half-Life SDK. Nothing shows up when I filter "tools" in the texture browser, but all other textures from the .wads are showing up.

I have all the .wads from the valve folder loaded in the Textures tab of the Configure Valve Hammer Editor window.

cached.wad
decals.wad
fonts.wad
gfx.wad
halflife.wad
liquids.wad
spraypaint.wad
tempdecal.wad
xeno.wad

Are the tool textures located in a different .wad somewhere? It's been many years since I've used hammer editor but I don't recall having a problem finding the tool textures before.

Those are supposed to be on the "halflife.wad" and it's already active as you said, sometimes loading too many wads can cause problems, try deleting and readding them.

I'm not really sure but I remember a wad that includes all of the regular hl wads that comes with ZTHL, you can using that.

Also, in my experience, a clean reinstall always fixes any problems, if you don't mind doing the configuration all over again.

No luck. The zhlt site is down but I was able to find the executables on github. No sign of the tool textures however.

I`m not sure why but basics.wad is no longer included with HL. You can use either of these.

The latest compilers also have the wads you need.
