How do you destroy that tank on Surface Tension?

I'm at that part where that tank comes in after the airstrike, just after you get the hive gun. I'm out of rockets and TAU cannon ammo, and it's able to kill me in just a couple of hits. What do I do?

Thanks, but I managed to backtrack and destroy a crate in that truck with the turret and get some TAU cannon ammo. I managed to destroy the tank, but now I can't grab the ladder to progress. >:(

Go to the second floor (the one with the guard) there's a window there, get out the window and follow the way out around the corner, you should be able to jump over and reach the ladder.

I tried that already, and when I jump Gordon hits the ladder but doesn't grab on, like he can't get a good grip.

Try crouching before grabbing the ladder, yes, mid air crouch

Thanks, but I already passed that part and made it to the Lambda Core. I guess reloading fixed it.
