GMan glitch in unforeseen consequences

Hello guys. So I started playing the campaign on the GoldSrc version with the HD models enabled, and after I encountered the first hounds something weird happened: when you see the Gman on the top passageway, and there's that locked room with the first grenades, for which you need to take the scientist with you to unlock it, I climbed the stairs and...: it seems that the Gman didn't "de-spawn", I climbed up to go to the locked room, and he's just sitting there, in a corner, also blocking the scientist (when he gets near the Gman he says his lines about not moving another step). Just curious, has anyone encountered this? Not that big of a nuissance considering there;s not much use for grenades that early, but still, i'm curious if anyone encountered this. I will also upload some screenshots.

afaik it can happen only if you shoot at him, presumably with a glock, whenever you do that theres a chance that youll break the scripted sequence, thus leading him to not teleport and making him just standing there, invincible

it can happen in a lot of places when you do that, most notable one imo is on "We've got hostiles" before you meet your first hecu, since youll have at that time a mp5 which lets you break him more easily

what's even more peculiar is that I don't even remember shooting at him. Was funny, but also a bit creepy, just stumbling upon him all random like that, expecting him to dissappear, normally. :D
