How do I get Crack Life to work?

I cant get crack life or any HL1 mod to work right now and I'm looking for help

In the Half-Life folder, create a folder called cracklife and put the cracklife files there
open launch options for Half Life and put -game cracklife

i download "clcampaign" dir and put it into Half Life folder, then i go to game properities in Steam and add "-game clcampaign" to launch options and its works. You also can create ink on desktop with this "-game clcampaign" parametr.
I don’t know why I’m writing this, but in other cases you can also put the mod folder in the sourcemods folder and just restart steam.
And a way for the old version of the game, put the mod folder in the Half Life folder and select “change game” in the game menu.
