Jed's Half-Life Model Viewer v1.36 randomly closing after 1 to 2 minutes

Hello, I work alot with HLMV but today it started acting up. Strangely. When I open an .mdl file, it opens it just like any other .mdl file but then after a while it just closes. No sound alert, no message, just poof - gone. This never happened to me after a whole year of usage. This installation is 1 year old or 11 months old. And this never happened to me. I will try resarting my PC. Any suggestion on a way to fix it will be much appreciated. (I already Googled the problem several times, didn’t find anything regarding the problem. It also happens with any model from any GoldSrc game / mod)

You can try using the portable version which is more stable and doesn't require installation.
