Half life 1 how do you install skins?

i have been looking all over the internet getting ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ off because i don't know how to install it, i think you install the skins\custom gun replacements\ scientist models\ ETC\, and i can't find anywhere how to install these skins\replacements!, and i have made a discussion before so this is an update since nobody replied to this discussion, hopefully you guys explain to me how to do this!, and don't just view this discussion just please explain it to me!.

For models/skins, replace them at Half-Life\valve\models.
w_example is for world model while v_example is for view model(FPS view).

ie:Colt Python mod file is "v_357". Replace with "v_357" in the \models\ folder

did you not read what i said?, i just said in the discussion that i tried and Half-Life wouldn't do it, it would use the old models like before, i tried everything and it didn't work, please help me

today i am going to let you guys know, even though that i can't find the solution to download i found a long time ago this thread on gamebanana, they talk about the same thing the post link is right here https://gamebanana.com/threads/155366, and basically i am trying to download these and i have bought half life source, Steam says i have half life source and i don't have the game on my computer, and this is a very strange thing but i want some more help on this issue i have been having from all the way from July, please steam players that play half life 1 please tell me now how to download these skins, please tell me.

go to your half life directory, then to valve_hd, then models, and then place the skin files in there. that's for npc models

.rar files are like zip files, you have to unzip them. Just Google it.
