How do I make a console command automatically execute when I start the game?
I need to have my FOV saved but I can't figure out how to make it stay that way.

Locate config.cfg in your Half-Life folder, and make autoexec.cfg in the same folder. Add default_fov xxx there, then in console write exec autoexec.cfg.

Thanks, do you have a suggestion as to what my FOV should be? I'm running it 1920x1080.

If you want to play multiplayer then I'd go with higher values, like 120 or something. But if you want to play singleplayer, then set it to 106, so that models won't be stretched and everything will have a proper position like at default fov 90 at 4:3 resolutions.
