Where is my hl.exe folder

I am trying to find my hl.exe folder for installing Brutal Half Life beta build 2 but i can't find it and i am on Windows 10 btw.

Well undbsd i don't have that SteamInstalDir and in my steamapps all i have is a sourcemods folder i made.

sourcemods is a folder FOR HL2 mods, mods for GS aka hl1 needs to be placed in the same with

valve/

or

hl.exe

directory, SteamInstallDir is a directory where you installed your steam and it have

Steam.exe

I know sourcemods is for HL2 i am just pointing that out that is the only thing in my Steamapps folder and nothing else and i only remember it in a hl1 folder and i tried looking for it and can't find it. So in short my computer does not have stuff that others should have more than likely.

Did you downloaded any games?

Just copy this in your windows explorer:

C:\Program Files(x86)\steamapps\common\Half-Life

Or

C:\Program Files\steamapps\common\Half-Life

There is no mistake if you still cannot found hl1.exe then click in verify cache integrity or better reinstall the game.

Can you please be more specific? there is no point that half-life 1 is installed on any Microsoft folder, it belongs to Steam/Valve

it should be something like this one:

C:\Program Files(x86)\steamapps\common\Half-Life

Or

C:\Program Files\steamapps\common\Half-Life

if you bought Half-life 1 on Steam just click in right button of your mouse go to Half-life's Property and click in ''Explore''

Do this if you still cannot found half-life's folder
