That game was the bomb dot com back in the day. I am not even sure anyone really plays anymore, but the fast pace action, the Matrix style Bullet Time and crazy weapons make it (was) unique. Plus some walls can be destroyed which I thought was really neat back then.

i only played for a little bit with bots and it wasn't the worst mod but i will stick to double action boogaloo

There was a game called The Opera, which had similar mechanics to The Specialists, but that was dead even back then.
