How to create a monster jump pad!? The one like in bounce.bsp
Hi! I've rescently continued my single never-dinished map 12 years later!.. Gosh LOL
I need to create a jump pad like on the standard multiplayer map called "bounce" (you know it). I digged the entire internet and No adequate answer for that!
I made some semi-working thing with multi_manager and trigger_push. Yet it's aweful. And now I see that there is a way on changing a user's gravity while in a trigger_multiply! And that's looks like the solution. Cuz there was a free move while on that pad.
Please help me. That's just unbelievable, that's there is no answer on modern web. The Google had forgotten.

I'm not very good at mapping but these places have been most helpful to me:

https://discord.gg/ShZafae

http://twhl.info/

Good places to find good mapping tutorials and there are nice folks there who are always glad to answer your questions.

I would decompile it with either Winbspc or BSPtwoMap, or use nems bspview to see how its done.

Man... as long as I kow, decompiling a BSP map will only give you a basic geometry, but none of the entity tricks, nor even an trigger "obgects"

Everything you need will be there after decompiling but the brushes will be messed up, or the harder way is to use nems tool to find the entity number and then search for it with BSPedit.
