Half life on consoles
Why wasn’t half life on ps1, n64 or dreamcast?

PS1;did receive official port and co-op campaign
N64;no port
Dreamcast; port was planned, but canceled. Content from port was moved to the pc version in the form of blue shift and the HD pack.

Half-Life was ported over to the PS2 console by Gearbox using the leftovers of the Dreamcast version.

HL1 was only ever ported to the PS2 by Gearbox, as 9seed said a Dreamcast version was planned but canceled. Blue Shift and Decay were made for the PS2 and canceled Dreamcast version, BS was ported to PC but Decay's PC port was canceled (though there is a fanmade port). It was planned fro HL to be ported to the PS1 or N64, neither console had the hardware to run HL and the PS1 was reaching the end of it's lifespan by the time HL was being ported.
because console fps is inferior

PS1 and N64 were probably too weak to run it, unless it would be wholly reworked like the Quake II port was. Dreamcast and PS2 got ports, although the DC version was released only in "beta" state, as Sega pulled the plug on the system in 2001.
