[Solved] My problem

[java.lang.NullPointerException]

Fatal Error: Failed to initialize authentication interface

Running on linux mint; it is set up like ubuntu. Need help. If no solution is found then I will just install on my windows version of steam running on wine that I have on this drive.

Solution:

1. Right Click Half-Life in your Steam Library
2. Click on 'Properties'
3. Click on 'set launch options'
4. Type "-software" //Do not use quotes
5. Click 'ok'
6. Launch and you will be ready to play
