How to increase fov?

steam-> steamapps-> half-life -> valve -> autoexec.config (just search for it from valve)

use the command "default_fov [value]" (i beleive it was something like that) in-game, ajusting it untill you are happy, then paste the command into the autoexec file.

good luck. (i know, it's a lot of work.)
