How to use Xbox 360 controller with Half-Life 1?

Hey guys what's up, I figured out that by enabling the Joystick option in HL1 video settings, the left control stick lets me look around.. and it works.. it's very smooth. However, the right stick doesn't do anything or the buttons. Is there any way to program the game to recognize other controller inputs?

the game wasn't released during the 360s life time as there's no ports of the game for that system the only ports there are for Half Life 1 are as follows.
Linux, Playstation 2, Microsoft Windows (aka PC) and macOS (i'm guessing another PC).

H-L1 only has joystick contol not daul-controler. You will need to use a 3rd party program to remap your controler configuration file.

OR use steam input witch is always on untill you disable it steam input it much easier to use
