What is with this crazy music?

I am long time Half Life devotee, and I just purchased it on the Steam sale to reexperience it again Am I crazy, or did they add new music to the opening train ride and HEV suit scenes? With a female voice and DJ music? This was definitely not in the original. It is awful! Any idea how to disable it?

Chance is, it plays music from current CD\DVD\Blu-ray disk in your PC. Anyway, music can be disabled in options.

The Female Voice telling you about Black Mesa and Klaxon Beat were always there

Kinda expected a devotee to at least know that it was all there

The Female Voice telling you about Black Mesa and Klaxon Beat were always there

Kinda expected a devotee to at least know that it was all there

i think he means when you first put the hev suit and the electronic music starts playing, or when you pick batteries for the hev suit, a female voice says the % of recharge or something like that

My first thought was that he had a CD inside the unit... but you are right he must speak about that.

The HEV suit voice and Klaxon Beat were in the game(Klaxon Beat is that music that plays after getting the HEV suit).

LOL it is definitely from another CD I had in there. Absolutely hilarious. I'm trying to get in the mood of Half Life and some crazy 90's DJ music is pumping. Removed CD, all good now.
