About the GoldSource engine
I know that Source is physically better but I miss some elements from GoldSrc... Is there a way to "fuse" the 2? I mean being able to have gibs and other stuff like death animations.

Good luck with that. About 80% of the GoldSRC engine were heavily modified.

And GoldSrc is a heavily modified version of the Quake engine.

I would love if we got the alpha version of HL2 (using most assets from GoldSrc as you could see in the demo, like the blood splat where you hit the ennemy)

You get that in source.

Do you know that the 2004 Source engine isn't the same as today's?

Anyway my main question is: is it possible to edit the sounds and graphical effect to make it more like GoldSrc? I prefer the old explosion sound and visual effect (yes this sounds wierd but I absolutely hate the way the explosion doesn't looks as powerfull in the new engine)

They don't have bloodsplats in the 2004 engine? Didn't notice. You could download mods to do that I think.

I have both and this isn't the question.

Is there a HL² mod that replace the sounds and maybe some of the physics by HL1's?

Well there is a remake of HL2 in Half-Life's engine called Half-Life 2 Classic.
