i cant find it. I picked it up, ran out of ammo, and lost it forever. I went back to the place i first found it at, but it wasnt there. someone help...

Search accross the rooms, you'll find it. Unless you've used them all.

You still have the tau cannon, you just need to find some ammo. It's alot more rare though, but if you look you'll find some.

Well if I used them all how do I shoot the helecoptor down, can I just use normal weapons or is the rail gun the only way.

use pistol, launch rockets, or m4 to destroy the helicopter... that easy.

you're not even supposed to destroy the first helicopter, only the cliffside one with the rocket launcher

But you can perfectly destroy all the helicopters from the game and all V22 so why not destroy them?
