How do i make my own weapons models?
i really want to get into modding but all the tutorials i've seen are misleading and not even slightly helpful, i have no idea how to make weapon models or change textures or any of that

I guess making them from scratch or start from a base. Like if you want to make a luger pistol you can use the glock 17 as a base.

Moulding, using a 3D modelling program like Blender. It's all up in the air for you.

Just watch Blender tutorials on how to mould a shape, pretty sure there are plenty of those.

Yeah, and you should download the half-life model viewer if you'd like. You just need to model your weapon and animations and such and convert it do a .mdl, (model file) which Half-Life uses.

I'm not planning on making super advanced models for half life, i'd much rather use a modeling program released before 2000

Have a look around on below sites, but as they said above blender and youtube tutorials are your best bet.
