Precisely, there are ways to get "Floating". If you'd rather not have a direct answer, no worries, I won't spoil things for you; just know that you will be able to obtain methods of dealing with this later on. Please let me know if you want a direct / spoiler-y answer.
To quote the news post from Friday:

Sometimes it's not that they're "not giving you necessary info" but that they want to "have some secrets / surprises for the player". So, missing out on that randomly-spawning Kawa isn't the end of the world, there will be more.
I did see the post from Friday. But since the kawa in Azure Fields isn't random - which is what the post was describing - and "rare resources" can mean anything from "you don't get many" to "you can only get it from this one enemy this one time" (looking at you, JRPGs) I just wanted to make sure I was at most just missing out on earlier access to something I could get later.
Thanks.
That and for me the raw damage potential of enemies seems to have increased 2-3x in the space of the same number of story battles, and I haven't imbalanced my XP to AP gain. And I have the best equip across the board you can buy at that point.
Would be better if there was just one more round before that thing flees. Or at least make it so it has to get to the edge of the map instead of teleporting away.
The game felt ever so slightly easy up until Azure fields for me. That encounter made me feel like I need to go grind up some AP.
See I haven't had any problems with progressing through the story even though it is a higher difficulty, but that is cause i am one of the crazies who grinds out ap and levels. I am 30 hours in and just at the second temple. But my units have 4 mastered classes already and hit like trucks, also Versatile-crit build for mages is amazing Q u Q. It took a bit work but my main mage who is my personal character has druid/sorc/fellblade/scoundral and wiz max and she is a beast. I am planning on getting more crit bonuses from mastering classes to get her crit even higher than it is which is 40+% right now
