Why is this game still so expensive on PC?

I have been watching this game since it released on EPIC, it NEVER dropped below $35 CAD. The same cannot be said about the console ports.

The fact that I got Death Stranding for $18 on EGS makes this game look ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ridiculous. Now the Steam version is live at $50 LOL, are you kidding me? Guess I will keep waiting.

Meh. Did you see the graphics on PC with DX12 video card? Surprised they got it to work on xbox one and ps4. Of course the graphics are tonned down a lot on last gen consoles. The real game is on PC.

Call of Duty Black ops 2 is still like 90 bucks with all DLC's and this game is from 2013. Thats an 8 years old game. And people are whining about the same price for a game released 1 year ago. Hilarious.

Also do you realise that there are much less players on PC vs consoles, like MUCH less?

That's more condemning for Call of Duty than anything else when you consider that most people play the series for its multiplayer which usually dies out in ~1-2 years when people migrate to the next release.

Rightfully so. There's no excuse for taking the EGS money, selling the game for full price there and then releasing it for full price again. The novelty has worn off and a large part of the value in a game like this comes from playing with others - something that's going to get harder with time.

Also do you realise that there are much less players on PC vs consoles, like MUCH less?

Depends on the type of game really. The console experience is also much more limited in general.

Obviously doesn't count for counterstike. Lets not even talk about other old school pc games, bcs it's only a small minority who play those games at all. So my point stands.

Steam has more active users than Sony, MS and Nintendo have consoles sold combined so no console is not bigger than PC, because PC is all encompassing. You only play League on a potato laptop? That still counts, and if they want to draw more PC players to their game they would give better deals than 10% off. Also what, Counter Strike and Star Craft are small minorities (CS:GO currently has over 1 million players playing right now)? What about league, dota 2, World of Warcraft? 3 arguably of the biggest games on the market exclusive to PC. Id say none of these games have a small minority. Id wager they have bigger communities than any 1 console exclusive.

I already own the super deluxe edition and season pass 2 since 3 months. I doubt it's allowed to post retailer. No matter if you trust them or not. They can only sell the gamesfor that price, bcs they buy them in other countries where they are much cheaper.

Do what you want, but seeing as these links are censored in steam chat, I have feeling this is against the guidelines.

nope ! mmorpg, g2a or kinguin was never be censored by itself ! even links from amazon, ebay or any other shoping sites even links from other game portals like origiin, epic store etc was showed as censored link in the chat. it had something to to with the EU general terms of conditon and protecton of minors ... but that was over 3 years ago!
you can ask the rebellion support if you rly belive that these retailers are illegal or whatever...
they actualy buy keys direct rom the studios! game devs sales there product not only to big game portals like steam, gog etc...
btw if these retailers had anything to do with piracy the homepages would have been deactivated directly and the retalers would not have reported their business to the E.U
in order to engage digtal piracy!
long in short: dont buy keys from homepages related to russia, south america or any other dubios country! its realy ez to identify a black sheep...
i own over 600 games on steam and i bought more than the half of these games from retailers like mmorpg.de and a lot of game keys are from old fashion dvd-rom's bought i a real media store^^

I see. No problem with those pages myself. I use them for many years as well. I just wouldn't advice them in puplic.
