how do i defeat the skeleton that does the little slash attack?its on the stage where the skeleton and three bunny creatures are there.how to get wand?or how to defeat it?

When using the wand and shooting, if you die you'll often start a brand new game automatically instead of continuing your progress. This happened twice to me. Having to start from scratch really takes enjoyment away from game.

i installed the game and all i can see is a split screen and the word continue in the top half , no keys work and nothing runs ?
